Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) — Just In Time Emergency Locksmith Albuquerque

1. What areas do you serve? We proudly serve Albuquerque and the surrounding areas including Rio Rancho, Sandia Heights, Los Ranchos Estates, West Side, Central Avenue, Paseo del Norte, Downtown, and more. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, feel free to call us directly.

2. Are your locksmiths licensed and insured? Yes. All of our locksmiths are fully licensed, insured, and trained to provide safe, professional services for residential, commercial, and automotive needs.

3. How fast can you respond to an emergency lockout? We aim to arrive at most locations within 30 minutes depending on traffic and distance. Our mobile locksmith units are strategically placed to offer the fastest response times in Albuquerque.

4. What should I do if I’m locked out of my car or house? Call us immediately. Do not try to force entry, as it could cause unnecessary damage. Our technicians are trained to regain access using non-destructive methods whenever possible.

5. Do you offer 24/7 emergency locksmith services? Yes. We provide emergency locksmith services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—including weekends and holidays.

6. Can you make or program car keys and key fobs? Absolutely. We offer key duplication and key fob programming for most makes and models. Our equipment is dealership-grade but much more affordable.

7. What is the difference between rekeying and replacing a lock? Rekeying changes the internal pins of a lock so that old keys no longer work, but the hardware stays the same. Replacing a lock means installing brand-new hardware. Rekeying is often faster and more cost-effective.

8. Do you install high-security locks or smart locks? Yes. We specialize in high-security lock systems and smart lock installations for homes and businesses. We’ll help you choose the best system for your needs and budget.

9. How much do your services cost? Prices vary based on the service type, location, and time of day. We always provide upfront pricing before any work begins. For example, residential rekeying starts at $60, car lockouts during business hours start at $69, and after-hours calls have a minimum $50 dispatch fee.

10. Is there any risk of damage when unlocking a vehicle or door? We use non-destructive tools and methods whenever possible. However, as noted in our Terms and Conditions, there is a small inherent risk of damage during some lockout procedures—especially with older or damaged locks.

11. What types of properties do you service? We provide locksmith services for homes, apartments, vehicles, office buildings, storefronts, industrial sites, and more.

12. How can I pay for services? We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and some mobile payment apps. Payment is due at the time of service.

13. Do you offer discounts? Yes. We occasionally run promotions and offer discounts for seniors, military, and repeat customers. Be sure to ask when booking your appointment.
